Bedtime Question

Jason ... My 9 year old is a deep thinker. She just asked me one question as I kissed her goodnight that the only way to answer it led to an hour conversation about life, death and God's eternal plan. Either she is REALLY smart and wants to stay up past her bedtime on a school night, or she is one spiritually sensative and contemplative little soul. I love her.

I have the sublime pleasure of being a substitute seminary teacher for Goodlettsville Ward. Being the beginning of the year only a few weeks in as a sub I was having a hard time getting ready to teach the upcoming lessons. Pondering if my one or two days every so often would matter. As I often do when I need to contemplate preparing for a lesson I like to listen to something to help me focus, now that music to some would be hymns or MoTab for me it's Joseph: A Nashville Tribute. Now strictly speaking I am not a country fan, living in Nashville that's a handicap. BUT the one country album I can listen to, cry to, pray to, study with is the NTB album Joseph. They have made Joseph, Emma, Hyrum, Porter and the early Saints my bestfriends. Rush hour when I worked downtown was ALWAYS Porters song. Emma when I think I'm having a bad day, and Rising when I need a boost. As a convert to the church I cherish the songs of faith in the unseen Prophet.

Thanks Jason, Dan, Matt, Brad, Tim, Mindy and all those that made/make The Nashville Tribute Band possible.
